Every year, since 1963, the Small Business Administration takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from across the nation through National Small Business Week.
Small businesses contribute to local economies by bringing innovation to their community, providing employment opportunities, and attracting talent who invent new products or implement new solutions for existing ideas.
U.S. Small Business South Florida District Director Francisco “Pancho” Marrero is pleased to announce the winners of SBA’s 2015 State of Florida and South Florida District Small Business Week Awards.
“The nominations for this year’s competition prove once again, the level of professionalism and success is a trademark of our south Florida small business community,” said Marrero. “Not only should the winners be congratulated but every business nominated and considered should be recognized for their accomplishments. Selecting this year’s winners was no easy task.”
The award for the 2015 SBA South Florida District Veteran Owned Small Business of the Year AND the 2015 SBA State of Florida Veteran Owned Small Business of the Year was presented, by Congressman Gus Bilirakis, to Mr. Charles Jenkins, Owner and President of CWU, Inc.
