Founded in 1959, the ATA is a professional association that was founded to advance the translation and interpreting professions and to foster the professional development of individual translators and interpreters. CWU, Inc., a proud Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB), headquartered in Tampa, FL, has quickly risen to become an industry leader providing our government clients critical staff augmentation support, through over 100 prime contracts and task orders and supporting more than 90 federal agencies as well as more than 125,000 government and law enforcement personnel, since beginning operations in 2004.

CWU, Inc. is awarded a five (5) year BPA to provide Sign Language Interpreters to Dover AFB, Dover, DE. CWU will be providing NAD-RID sign language interpreter services to the deaf and hard of hearing employees of Dover on an as-need, ad-hoc basis.

Charles and Susan Jenkins contribute $25,000 to SOCSOUTH Fallen Warriors Memorial

CWU, Inc. is proud to announce that Charles and Susan Jenkins recently contributed $25,000 to the SOCSOUTH Fallen Warriors Memorial, as the premier donors, “honoring those that paved the way”. On 3 March 2017, the memorial wall was unveiled which preserves the names and legacy of those who died in the line of duty in Latin America and the Caribbean since 1963. The memorial commemorates U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force Special Operations Forces members killed during combat operations or while conducting training in U.S. Southern Command’s area of responsibility. Two areas near SOCSOUTH’s headquarters in Homestead AFB, FL entrance and pool serve as the memorial’s backdrop.
Charles is a retired 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Medic that served with many of those memorialized on the SOCSOUTH Memorial Wall. We are proud of our leaderships' contributions to preserving the legacy of those who have sacrificed the most in service of our great nation.

CWU awarded position on U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command Contract Vehicle

CWU, Inc. U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (USAINSCOM) has awarded CWU Inc. a multi-award schedule (MAS) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) potential 10-year contract to provide foreign language and training support services in direct support of the Department of Defense Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprise (DLITE-II) program.
"CWU has been a trusted performer and partner with the U.S. Government providing language support services, cultural advisors, and role player support services for well over 10 years", said Charles Jenkins, President of CWU Inc. "Our commitment to excellence coupled with our proven management systems has set the standard for language and training support service. We are pleased to have been selected as one of the nine large business prime contractor's in support of the INSCOM DLITE-II effort."

Charles and Susan Jenkins, with extreme gratitude, had the utmost pleasure of presenting this award to Mr. Spenceley, for his continued support over the years. Since 2013, Edward has certainly surpassed, as our banker, anything that we could have imaged to help make CWU a defense contracting industry leader; his government contracting subject matter expertise, can-do attitude and professionalism has been instrumental in ensuring our firm had the resources and support required to thrive and grow in a very competitive market space.
